Style Me Pretty: A Fond Farewell

Updated: Apr 20, 2018

In any aspect of your life you draw your inspiration from people, companies, websites, social media etc. No matter what it is you do in life you find inspiration in those around you and in those who share your passions.

For us here at The Felt Factory in Philadelphia, being part of this incredible wedding industry is one that we feel honored to be included in. We draw our inspiration and our creative ideas from the fabulous individuals and companies who share our passion for love and making wedding dreams come true. One of those very inspirations is the website Style Me Pretty, which announced this week that they will be signing off for good come April 30th.

They shared this message with all of those who have been drawn to their site and social media pages for wedding inspiration and guidance:

Even the most perfect of weddings must eventually come to a close. The same is true for us here at Style Me Pretty. After an incredible twelve years of sharing your beautiful weddings, we will close Style Me Pretty on April 30th.

While we won’t be posting any new stories after today, you’ll be able to view and save anything on the site up until the end of the month.

We’re so proud to have played even a small role in sending so many brides and grooms off into their happily-ever-after. Thank you for sharing such special moments with us.”

Style Me Pretty built their brand on the promise of providing a true happily ever after, and that is a promise they delivered to so many brides and grooms around the world. Their website became an advice column, a style/décor inspiration board, a collaborative relationship, a fairy tale story book and so much more to brides, grooms and those in the wedding industry alike.

Style Me Pretty’s Instagram account is every bride visual dream for wedding inspiration. Displaying in squares photos of happily ever after, décor inspiration/ideas, wedding gown dreams, bridesmaids dress dreams, floral fantasies, wedding cake magic and so much more. Their page was everything you dreamed of when you started planning your wedding day and it was everything that you needed for inspiration in the wedding planning world.

Their style, their inspiration, their love, their passion, their creativity and their commitment to making every bride’s wedding dreams come true will be missed among those in the wedding industry, and they will be missed by all future brides who are ready to say, “I do”.

We thank them for all they’ve done for the wedding industry, as it has inspired and motivated so many who shared their passions for happily ever after. Especially all of us here in Philadelphia.
